Business Law covers several legal areas of study. In common, they are connected to economic questions with respect to the company, industry and the society. The department’s research activities centre on:
Research conducted is based on traditional legal as well as social science methods, primarily focusing on the analysis of law, its effects and the underlying society’s phenomenon. The purpose is to contribute to the theoretical framework and understanding of legal issues within the fields of law, business administration and other social science disciplines.
Research projects undertaken in corporate and tax law take an economic and international focus, sharing common ground with among others, the fields of business administration, economics and public finance. At present, the following areas of research are prioritized:
